ABOUT C63/C63S AMG
The W205 Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63S brought the hand-built M177 four-litre V8 biturbo into the C-Class, and it remains one of the most rewarding engines in the AMG range to modify. At Proven Performance Parts, our C63 collection delivers Stage 1 to Stage 3 hardware for the W205: catless and catted downpipes with and without heat shielding, valved catback exhaust systems, cold air intakes, charge pipes, uprated intercoolers and carbon fibre exterior styling. The M177 mounts both turbochargers inside the vee, so it takes a matched pair of downpipes - and the restrictive factory pair is the single biggest limit on the engine. Freeing them drops backpressure, sharpens spool on both banks and releases the power a tune is already asking for. Covering the C63 and C63S (W205, 2015-2021).
