ABOUT GLA45/GLA35/GLB35 AMG
The Mercedes-AMG GLA and GLB take the same hand-built four-cylinder hardware as the A-Class and CLA, which means the compact SUVs follow exactly the same upgrade path as the hot hatches they share a platform with. At Proven Performance Parts, this collection covers the whole range: the M139 and M133 cars in GLA45 form, and the M260 cars in GLA35 and GLB35 form. Stage 1 to Stage 3 hardware across all of them - catless and catted downpipes with and without heat shielding, valved catback exhaust systems, mid pipes, cold air intakes, turbo inlets, charge pipes, uprated intercoolers and heat exchangers, and carbon fibre exterior styling. The factory downpipe is the biggest restriction in the system, and freeing it drops backpressure, sharpens turbo spool and unlocks the power a tune is already asking for. Covering the GLA45 (X156, 2014-2019 and H247, 2020-2025), the GLA35 (H247, 2020-2025) and the GLB35 (X247, 2020-2025).
