Open up your Mercedes-AMG A45 or CLA45 with this performance air intake — a CNC machined one-piece aluminium adapter and a large high-flow cone filter, replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a direct, unobstructed path to the turbocharger.

The factory A45 and CLA45 airbox is a sealed plastic case with a flat panel filter, sized around noise regulations rather than airflow. This system drops the whole lower box and panel filter and replaces them with a billet adapter that bolts to the original mounting points, carrying a cone filter with several times the surface area. It sits down in the factory airbox cavity, so it still draws from the cold-air feed at the front of the bay rather than pulling hot air off the engine.

This is the open filter version, and it is the most direct route to more airflow and more induction noise for the money. Please Note:

An ECU tune is recommended to realise the full benefit of the intake, though the induction note and throttle response improve without one. The filter is washable and reusable and should be cleaned and re-oiled at normal service intervals.
