ABOUT GLE53/GLE63 AMG
The Mercedes-AMG GLE is offered in two very different forms - the GLE53 with its electrified M256 inline-six and the GLE63 with the M177 four-litre V8 biturbo - and both respond hard to exhaust work. At Proven Performance Parts, our GLE collection delivers Stage 1 to Stage 3 hardware for the W167 chassis: catless and catted downpipes with and without heat shielding, valved catback exhaust systems, mid pipes, cold air intakes, charge pipes, uprated intercoolers and carbon fibre exterior styling. On a car this size the factory downpipe is the single biggest limit on the engine, and freeing it drops backpressure, sharpens spool and releases the power a tune is already asking for. Covering the GLE53 (W167, 2019-2023) and the GLE63 (W167, 2020-2023).
