ABOUT Volkswagen Exhausts
The EA888 responds to a free-flowing exhaust like few four-cylinder engines do, and the factory system on a GTI or Golf R is the single loudest thing holding one back — heavily silenced to pass European drive-by noise limits rather than to let the engine breathe. At Proven Performance Parts, our Volkswagen exhaust range covers valved catback systems in 304 stainless steel and full titanium for the MK7, MK7.5, MK8 and MK8.5 Golf GTI and Golf R, alongside catless and catted downpipes, mid pipes and turbo-back packages. Every system runs its own independent valve assembly on a supplied remote rather than reusing the restricted factory valves, so the car is civil on a cold start and fully open when you want it.
