ABOUT GT53/GT50/GT43 AMG
The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe brings AMG's GT styling to a genuine four-seater, and in GT43, GT50 and GT53 form it runs the electrified M256 three-litre inline-six. At Proven Performance Parts, our GT 4-Door collection delivers Stage 1 to Stage 3 hardware for the X290 chassis: catless and catted downpipes with and without heat shielding, valved catback exhaust systems, mid pipes, cold air intakes, charge pipes and uprated intercoolers. The M256 pairs a conventional turbocharger with an electric auxiliary compressor and a 48-volt starter-generator, so it builds boost almost instantly - and the factory downpipe is the restriction standing between that response and real power. Freeing it drops backpressure and releases what a tune is already asking for. Covering the GT43, GT50 and GT53 4-Door Coupe (X290, 2019-2023).
