The M139 is the most powerful series-production four-cylinder ever built, and it is fed through a plastic airbox designed around drive-by noise limits rather than airflow. This system replaces it end to end: a carbon enclosure and lid, a carbon intake elbow running to the turbo inlet, a shaped carbon heat shield separating the intake from the engine bay, a carbon turbo inlet trim ring, and a large high-flow cone filter in place of the factory flat panel.

M139 Only - This Will Not Fit an Earlier A45:

The M139 turns the cylinder head around compared with the M133 that came before it, putting the intake at the front and the exhaust against the bulkhead. The airbox cavity is a completely different shape as a result.

This intake fits the W177, C118 and H247 cars. If you have a W176 A45 or C117 CLA45, that is the M133 and it takes our W176/C117 carbon intake instead.

Please Note:

An ECU tune is recommended to realise the full benefit of the intake, though the induction note and throttle response improve without one. The filter is washable and reusable and should be cleaned and re-oiled at normal service intervals.
