An X5M is nearly five metres long and sits high. That combination leaves a deep, unbroken slab of body between the wheel arches, and it is the single thing that stops the car looking as aggressive as it goes. These extensions add a defined lower edge along the full length of the sill, which pulls the eye downward and makes the whole side of the car read lower and longer.

Professional installation is recommended. A panel this long has to be aligned along its whole length before the fixings are tightened, or the gap along the sill will taper.

Side skirt extensions sit lower than the factory sill. Take care with kerbs and when using a workshop hoist.
