Manufactured from prepreg carbon fibre with a high-gloss twill finish, the trim is cured under pressure rather than laid up wet, which produces a more consistent laminate and a tighter fit. It is moulded as a single part spanning both kidneys, so there is no join at the centre.

It suits an owner who wants carbon at the front without replacing the grille itself, and it is the more restrained of the two approaches.
