Replace the factory wheel in your BMW F95 X5M or F96 X6M with this half-Alcantara, carbon-trimmed steering wheel — built to order in your choice of top stripe and stitching, so no two are quite the same.

The steering wheel is the one part of the car you are physically connected to every second you drive it. The factory leather wheel is competent and completely anonymous. Alcantara changes that immediately: it grips better in gloves or in the wet, it does not go slick and shiny with use, and it looks like it belongs in a car with an M badge on the boot.

The lower spokes and trim are finished in genuine carbon fibre, and the wheel carries the red M1 and M2 preset buttons plus full-length carbon paddle shifters — so the drive-mode presets and the shifts are both exactly where your hands already are.

Heating is retained, the horn and airbag mounting are unchanged, and the multifunction controls, cruise and voice buttons all keep their factory function.

This wheel is made to order. Because the stripe and stitching are built to your selection, please allow 12–15 days for production before dispatch. This applies to every custom steering wheel we supply.

Professional installation is required. The steering wheel houses the driver's airbag, and removal and refitting must be carried out by a qualified installer with the correct procedure for disarming and re-arming the airbag circuit.

Alcantara is a napped material. Slight variation in nap direction and shade is characteristic of it and not a defect.
