The factory pre-LCI headlight has a broad, rounded daytime running light. These units replace it entirely with the tapered "snake eye" signature: a thin, angular DRL that pulls the whole front end tighter and gives the car a far more purposeful stance, day or night.

This is a complete assembly, not a module or an insert. Each headlight is a full replacement unit with its own projector, LED daytime running light and integrated indicator, supplied as a matched left and right pair.

Beyond the appearance, the upgrade is a genuine lighting improvement — a modern projector with a clean, sharp cut-off and a substantially brighter beam than the unit it replaces.

Which Option Do I Need?

Select the headlight your car currently has. The plug and control setup differs between the two factory units, so this needs to match what is fitted now — not what you are upgrading to.

LED — the standard Adaptive LED headlight. No blue detailing inside the housing and no lettering across the lens.

Laser — the optional BMW Laserlight. Identified by the blue accents inside the projector and the blue BMW Laser lettering on the lens.

Laserlight was a cost option, so the majority of cars have the LED headlight. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your current headlight or your VIN and our team will confirm the correct set before dispatch.
