BMW G80/G82 M3/M4 Carbon Fibre Vented Front Hood
Replace the factory bonnet on your G80 M3 or G82 M4 with this Vented Carbon Fibre Front Hood — a full structural panel with twin raised power domes and four functional extraction vents.
This is the single biggest visual change available to the front of a G8X. The standard bonnet is a large flat expanse of paint; this replaces it with exposed carbon, a raised centre spine and vents that break the surface up completely. From head-on the car reads as a different specification.
The vents are open rather than blanked, so hot air coming off the S58 has somewhere to go instead of building under the panel. On a car that sees track time or sustained hard driving, that is a genuine benefit rather than a styling claim.
Manufactured in carbon fibre with a high-gloss twill weave under a UV-protected clear coat, moulded to the factory G8X bonnet profile and fitted at the original hinge and latch locations.
Key Features
Two Functional Extraction Vents
Open vents let hot air escape the engine bay rather than trapping it under a sealed panel.
Twin Raised Power Domes
A raised centre section either side of the spine, giving the bonnet depth and shadow from head-on.
Full Structural Panel
A complete bonnet replacement, not an overlay or a vent insert cut into the factory panel.
Weight Saving Over Steel
Carbon fibre in place of the factory steel panel, taking mass off the highest point at the front of the car.
Factory Mounting Points
Moulded to the G8X profile and fitted at the original hinge, latch and strut locations.
UV Protected Finish
A high-gloss clear coat that resists yellowing and holds its depth under Australian sun.
Styling Benefits
• The largest single visual change available to a G8X
• Exposed carbon across the whole front of the car
• Functional heat extraction, not blanked vents
• Weight removed from high and far forward
• Pairs with a carbon front lip and canards
• Reads as a factory CSL-style specification
Vehicle Fitment
BMW G80 M3 (2021+)
BMW G82 M4 (2021+)
Please Note
This is a structural body panel. Fitting requires removal of the factory bonnet and should be carried out by a body shop or a workshop experienced with carbon panels. Panel alignment and gap setting is part of the fitting process and is not a fault of the part.
Supplied unpainted in a clear-coated carbon finish. If you want it colour-matched or part-painted, that is done locally after delivery.
The bonnet is shipped in a dedicated crate because of its size. Delivery takes longer than a small part and freight is quoted separately where required.
Carbon fibre is a natural woven material. Minor variation in weave pattern across a panel this size is characteristic of the material and not a defect.
