ABOUT GLA/GLB-CLASS
The Mercedes-AMG GLA and GLB run the same turbocharged four-cylinder hardware as the A-Class and CLA, which means the compact SUVs take the same upgrade path as the hot hatches they share a platform with. At Proven Performance Parts, our GLA and GLB collection delivers Stage 1 to Stage 3 hardware for the X156, H247 and X247 cars: catless and catted downpipes with and without heat shielding, valved catback exhaust systems, mid pipes, cold air intakes, turbo inlets, charge pipes, uprated intercoolers and heat exchangers, and carbon fibre exterior styling. The factory downpipe is the biggest restriction in the system, and freeing it drops backpressure, sharpens turbo spool and unlocks the power a tune is already asking for. Covering the GLA35 (H247), the GLA45 (X156) and GLA45 S (H247), and the GLB35 (X247).
