The G87's standard boot line is flat, and a lip spoiler only softens it. This wing lifts the profile clear of the bodywork on two integrated risers, so light passes underneath it and the rear of the car gains a hard horizontal line it does not have from the factory. It is the difference between a subtle rear and one that reads as a track car from three cars back.

The blade is swept upward at each end and tapers toward the centre, which is what keeps a raised wing from looking bolted on. It is a single carbon moulding with the risers formed as part of the piece.
