These figures are a guide, not a guarantee.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhy A TCU Tune Matters\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt Stage 2 the S58 makes well over 800Nm - more than the factory 8-speed automatic is calibrated to accept. Without a transmission (TCU) tune the gearbox will limit torque in the lower gears and the car will not deliver its full potential. A TCU tune raises those torque limits and sharpens the gearbox to match: faster, firmer shifts, gears held to the limiter, improved launch control and more consistent power delivery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe strongly recommend an ECU and TCU tune together for automatic cars.
